Aamir Khan's Visit To Turkey IRKS Subramanian Swamy; Says Actor 'Must Be Quarantined At Govt Hostel'
It was only recently that after a long break, Aamir Khan resumed the shooting for his upcoming film, Laal Singh Chaddha. The actor landed in Turkey last week for this very reason. Upon his arrival, Aamir also met the Lady of Turkey Emine Erdogan and the pictures of their encounter were everywhere across the internet. This, however, hasn't gone down well with a huge section of people and they have been bashing the actor for doing so amid the mounting tensions between India and Turkey. Among many others, BJP MP Subramanian Swamy, too, has taken to Twitter to express his displeasure on Aamir Khan's stints.

In his tweet, the politician wrote how in the wake of COVID-19 outbreak, the actor should be quarantined in a government hostel upon his arrival. "Under the COVID-19 Regulations, Aamir Khan has to be quarantined in a government hostel for two weeks upon return," read Swamy's tweet. According to Republic, Subramanian Swamy had earlier taken a jibe at the actor by terming Turkey as 'anti-India' and he claimed how Khan should have taken the Indian embassy with him while meeting Turkey's First Lady. Netizens, too, were irked with this encounter.

"Turkish President is backing Pakistan’s stand on Kashmir and Indian superstar Aamir is meeting his wife. Celebrities from smaller countries are more loyal to their motherland than Bollywood people ever would be," wrote a user.
